Formation and Early Years The band Satisfvcktion was founded in the town of Vyšší Brod but later settled in České Budějovice, the South Bohemian metropolis. A pivotal year was 1994 when the demo recording “Give Me A Gun” was released, bringing greater interest from fans and the entire club scene. As a result, Satisfvcktion continued their activities and recorded two more albums - the eponymous one in 1996 and “Guarantee!” in 1998. Over the years, there were various changes in the band’s lineup, which eventually stabilized into its current form: Broňa Míka (vocals), Pavel Těšínský (guitar), Jan Simota, (bass), and Radim Pígl (drums). Victory in the Nationwide Competition The most significant breakthrough came in 2002 with a victory in the nationwide band competition Rock Made In Gambrinus, enabling the release of the legendary album “Keep It Your Way”, the filming of a video for the single “Your Smiles”, and generating interest from media, festivals, and event promoters.. Subsequent Discography In the following two decades, the album “Motionless” with the video for “Dead End” was released. This was followed by the excellent album “Penumbra”, which brought further evolution in the sound and style of the band. This album was supported by the video for the song “Web And Weil”. The band decided to experiment even more when composing the music for the EP “Reflection”, from which the single “My Desire” emerged. The culmination so far is the latest album “Leaver” from 2023, where the band steps out of its own shadow, proving great inventiveness and inspiration. This album was preceded by the release of the single “Sick Love” in June 2023.. Experience and Progressiveness Satisfvcktion is among the most experienced bands in their genre. Over their more than thirty-year career, they have built a broad and loyal fan base, ranking among the legends of the Czech club scene. To this day they remain active and highly progressive, thanks to their continuous efforts for improvement, attention to detail, and pushing their own boundaries. The band is not only active when it comes to its concerts and music, since 2009 it has been building a unique project - the biggest club event in the Czech Republic Dead End Festival, where over 250 bands have performed so far! Professionalism The professionalism of Satisfvcktion is enhanced by hundreds of performed concerts and festival appearances, both in the Czech Republic and abroad (Great Britain, Netherlands, Austria...), as well as opening for foreign legends such as Faith No More, Kiss, or the entire tour with Waltari. Their unplugged concerts are also highly popular, offering a unique atmosphere and presenting the band in a slightly different light..
